CFI’s graduate school of coaching addresses the coach education needs of individuals and organisations. The flagship ten month PGPEC in executive coaching has completed 21 editions and the 22nd edition is underway.  The graduate school of coaching also addresses the coaching culture and capability building needs of organisations through its Leader as Coach and Manager as Coach programs.  


Dr. B J Prashantham

Program Director & Honorary Dean of the Graduate School of Coaching

J. Prashantham is a world renowned Psychologist and Professor with over 40 years of experience as a trainer and supervisor of Counsellors and Executive Coaches. Educated from undergraduate to Post-doctoral levels in Counselling at Hyderabad, Chicago, Texas Medical Centre, Houston, and Ohio State University, he is a Professor of Counselling Psychology & Director at Institute of Human Relations, Counselling and Psychotherapy, Christian Counselling Centre, Vellore.

He has been an integral part of CFI’s Graduate School of Coaching and its education programs since inception including the flagship Post Graduate Program in Executive Coaching.

He is also President, Association for Psychological Counselling (APC) and Clinical Faculty at University Of Washington’s Global Health Department on mental health, disaster mental health and cross-cultural communication.

He is the author of a Best-selling book ‘Indian Case Studies in Therapeutic Counselling’ and many Journal articles.


M Hariharan

Program Director

Hari is a passionate Leadership Coach, Organisation Consultant and Facilitator of leadership and team development interventions and has worked with the senior leadership of organisations in a wide variety of industries, including manufacturing, software, financial services, FMCG, pharmaceuticals and education.

He brings a unique mix of rich experiences of over three decades, having worked both overseas and in India. He has also been a successful entrepreneur who co-founded two companies (one of which being a pioneer in that space in India) before divesting interests in both companies by early 2002.

Hari also brings deep experience and expertise in the use of psychometric tools for coaching and development.

He is Program Director of CFI’s Graduate School of Coaching and been an integral part of its education programs including the flagship Post Graduate Program in Executive Coaching.

He is a Post Graduate in International Business from the Indian Institute of Foreign Trade, New Delhi (IIFT).
